Commit Works has been selected to be part of Austmine’s Canada Mining Mission – an Australian METS trade delegation that will visit Quebec and Ontario this month.
Penelope LaMers, Commit Works Regional Manager – North America, will be one of the delegates showcasing Australia’s excellence in mining innovation on the Canadian mission, which takes place from 18-30 September.
Penny has broad international experience and extensive knowledge of hard rock mining. Along with the other delegates, she will have the opportunity to:
> visit key mining operations and meet with miners including Agnico Eagle, Vale Base Metals, Barrick, Rio Tinto, Wesdome and others
> undertake business matching and networking with local suppliers and potential partners
>participate in Mining Transformed, the world’s first underground mining technology exhibition at the NORCAT Underground Centre, a state-of-the-art operating mine.
